all time top 5 MEN

ok, the moment you have all been waiting for has finally arrived. I have compiled my list of all time top 5 beautiful men. enjoy!

5 - Scott Speedman. I fell in love with him in Felicity. I think I was one of the only girls that was happy that Felicity and Ben ended up together. he stole my heart and I continue to stalk him in all of the B List movies he has been in since, like xXx: State of the Union. come on Scott, you can do better! let's hope The Strangers can top that.

4 - Josh Holloway. as I have mentioned before, Lost is an amazing show. on my list of favorite Lost things, is Josh Holloway, or Sawyer. when I first started watching the show I hated him. he was arrogant, stubborn and mean. but he slowly grows on you and you start to respect him. then you feel close to him, bonded if you will, and before you know it, he is the hottest man alive and you dream about him every night. yes, he is hot hot hot, and now it looks like he is going to become the leader on the island now that Jack is getting off. I can't resist a man with authority. and yes, he is so hot I couldn't narrow it down to less than these two beautiful pictures.

3 - Patrick Dempsey. as ashamed as I am to admit it, I have never seen Can't Buy Me Love. so, I don't have a nerdy preconception of him. the first thing I remember about him is Sweet Home Alabama, which is one of my all time top 5 movies. he is dreamy. the writers for Grey's Anatomy are genious. McDreamy is the best way to describe him. being able to work under him at Seattle Grace might even be motivation enough for me to go to med school! come on! isn't that picture unbelievably sexy?

2 - Christian Bale. I had never paid much attention to him until Batman Begins. he definitely caught my attention there. dang! raise your hand if you can't wait for The Dark Knight? that's right. I knew all of your hands were up. it looks amazing! Christian Bale is definitely my favorite Batman. and who can forget him in The Prestige, 3:10 to Yuma, and The New World? he is a beautiful, beautful man.

1 - and that brings us to NUMBER ONE. Will Smith. he should have more than two pics, but I'll try not to overwhelm all of you. it's his personality that puts him over the top for me. he reminds me of my high school sweetheart, and a guy I had a crush on my sophomore year of college. so adorable. he was even hot when he was playing Will on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. he is ubnelievably hot in Bad Boys, Bad Boys II, and Enemy of the State, adorable in The Legend of Bagger Vance and The Pursuit of Happyness, and amazing in Ali. and if you haven't seen I Am Legend, do it! Will Smith alone on the screen, sometimes shirtless for two hours. it's totally worth it! oh yeah, and I found out that he and Jada have an open marriage, so I guess I can keep him at the top of my list of celebrities I am allowed to get with. haha! come on Will, you know you want me!

do I look like a wall in this shirt?

while cleaning out my inbox at work today I was reminded of a very funny story that I just have to share. back in February I walked into the stairwell on my way to the third floor and I almost ran right into our CEO and VP of Marketing (hereafter referred to as VPM). I said excuse me and squeezed past when our VPM said, "that is a beautiful sweater!" I smiled and said thank you. I have to admit, it is one of my favorite sweaters. It has a black and gray baroque pattern, sort of like this:

as I happily approached the door to the 3rd floor I overheard our CEO say, "now, when I look at that sweater I think "that would look great on a wall,' you know, like the pattern." Our VPM replied, "yeah, that would be gorgeous." I realized that since I was almost out the door it wasn't intended for my ears, so I continued on, but then paused in shock and thought, "wow, I look like a wall." and this scene from Garden State immediately flashed into my head:

I then thought, "hmmm, I don't think looking like a wall is a good thing." I still haven't decided whether that comment was an insult or not. Since our CEO is one of the nicest and most Christ-like people I have ever met, I doubt it was meant that way, but it wasn't exactly a compliment, right? needless to say, I will never look at that sweater the same again.

when life hands you lemons...

...squirt the juice in the eyes of your enemies! I may never actually do something like that, but there's something about happy bunny sayings that comfort me when my life is overflowing with lemons. this may seem a little twisted to you, I know happy bunny isn't appealing, but my family gets it. we could laugh for hours at these distasteful stickers. think what you will, but we all have thoughts like these at one point or another. I have always wished I could be like happy bunny and just say them with a big smile on my face. like, the other day when a girl cut me off, almost hit me, and then decided to take it out on me by honking, flipping me off and then riding my ass dangerously close all the way up Bangerter. I wanted nothing more than to calm her down by saying something inappropriate with a big smile on my face. or would it have been appropriate in that situation? either way, we both know that I will never do something like that. instead, I live vicariously through happy bunny and it lightens my mood. here are a few more of my favorite lines. enjoy!
I'm not mean, you're just a sissy
I hear the other ucky people calling you
Look how nice I am not laughing at your dumbness
Is ass your real name?
Run along and die now
Just not a shit giver I guess
It's cute how you think I'm listening
It's sad your mom dresses you like that
Like the world needs more drama queens
I'll be nicer when you're smarter

and then Erica introduced me to JunkMail Greetings which is even better!! be afraid, I make cards and I might start using these as templates.

Jaime took me to The Swell Season concert on Friday for my birthday. she is right. I am a changed woman. this was the best concert I have ever been to. please read her post about it since she gave it much more justice than I can. The Swell Season Concert & Its Accompanying Superlatives yes, ditto.
